(WLFI) — The Bigger Lafayette Indiana Black Expo is gearing up for its once-a-year Back-to-Faculty carnival on Saturday, Jul. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at Ivy Tech Local community College in Lafayette. They’ll be offering out 250 free backpacks filled with school provides and other instruments to households in need to have. It’s all about filling a money hole for family members as the faculty yr approaches.
Organizers split the materials into two different categories based on quality stage. Kindergarten through Fourth-quality pupils will get a standard-design backpack with crayons and other grade-suitable supplies.
